Harivanshrai Bachchan

The Man who is infront of the Success of Amitabh Bachchan is Shri Harivanshrai Bachchan who is also known as Dr H R Bachchan.

Shri Harisvanshrai Bhachan Born on 27th November 1907 in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh.

Shri Harisvanshrai Bhachan's poetry collection entitled "Madhushala" was published in 1935. He was the first Indian to graduate from Cambridge in the UK and later became a professor of english at the Allahabad University in India from 1941 to 1952. He is also credited with translating the work of Shakespeare into Hindi. Some of his poems are featured in the Bollywood movies "Agneepath" and "Alaap".

In a stardust interview Amitabh talks about his childhood and how he was a shy kid and how his father, the great poet Shri Harisvanshrai Bhachan helped him overcome this, which he says is one of the reasons of his success of his films.

After a Long Impressive Journey, Shri Harisvanshrai Bhachan Open His Way to Heaven on 18th Januray 2003 in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
